The Department of Community Development’s Neighborhood Standards Unit is an important part of the City of Rockford’s effort to provide for a better quality of life for all of the residents of our community. It was established in 1998 as a single point of contact for all environmental issues and complaints having to do with the exterior, non-structural portions of a property.
As an added service, Neighborhood Standards has developed a series of informational brochures for residents to view. Please feel free to print these brochures out and use them accordingly.
