The Board shall review appeals submitted by any regular employee regarding any grievance related to the city’s regulations, rules, or ordinances after other administrative remedies have been exhausted and may schedule hearings as required. The Board will not hear any grievances of bargaining unit members that are specifically provided for in the contract.
The Board offers advisory recommendations to the Mayor through a written statement of facts, findings, and recommendations. The Mayor's action shall be final and binding.
